Just heard this a minute ago. Trump's Treasury Department will start paying tipsters to report Medicare and Medicaid Fraud! What a wonderful plan. Imagine how much $$ Nick Shirley has earned!

When I was still in the military, there was a program known as Benny Suggs. A take off on 'beneficial suggestions.' In this program, participants who offered suggestions that resulted in noticeable savings would be rewarded with a percentage of the savings. The incentive program you've brought to our attention seems similar. Maybe we should revisit the Benny Suggs programs as well.

There's already tip lines and channels through the OIG. Its hard enough to parse through that crap. Turning it into bounty system will undoubtedly generate vastly more nonsense that is non actionable.
