It might be handy in showing migration patterns for ancient people. But it is worthless in trying to prove current populations have more Native Americans than whites.

As I said, the fact that people have mixed DNA that includes small amounts of Native American DNA does not make then Native Americans. If someone's DNA has 5% Native American and 95% Northern European is fascinating where ancient migrations are concerned. But that person is still a white, not a Native American.

It is not me. I posted several links that show the actual ethnicities of the US population. The sources of those links are reputable and independent of each other.

And, as I have said, the modern DNA data does not mean the same as ethnicity. Someone with a small amount of native American DNA is not Native American.

It shows the spread and decline of the Native American haplogroups. It does not show whether the people were Native American. They could be 10% Native American and they would still track on that map.

It does NOT show that there are more Native Americans than whites. At best it shows large scale interbreeding.
