Does capitalism under TrumpUSA promote true forms of mercantilism?

What do you think?

"
Americans were intrigued by comic book superheroes who captured a sociocultural 21st Century fascination with pedestrian daydreams in a time of great traffic and commerce. Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and others became youth-world icons representative of media/network folklore (e.g., espionage-patriotism). Would TrumpUSA become a 'tower' of toys?"

"At Dartmouth College, a prestigious Ivy League school in New England, a fashion academy began working with the major American fashion-clothing company DKNY for a series of eco-consciousness oriented fitness gear, to rival the celebrity-owned fitness-gear company Fabletics. This Dartmouth/DKNY eco-gear company was loosely-titled Eco-Chains, and it recruited the American celebrity Charlize Theron to serve as its media spokesperson. Theron told Vanity Fair that Eco-Chains would be to the fashion-world what Highlights Magazine was to youth-culture!"

"Meanwhile, the two American 'super-celebrities' Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise began a joint media-campaign espousing the global/social value of the iconic Sports Illustrated [SI] Swimsuit Issue in the Western world as a podium for free-speech marketing connected to peace-promoting sports. This would complement the Trump Administration's work with the PyeongChang Games [2018] which saw a vital alliance between the nuclear-rivaled Koreas. Hanks/Cruise wanted SI to be a professional platform for modern media values related to social values, but this was a more bold turn from the more grassroots approach of Eco-Chains. What would TrumpUSA make of this marketing Eco-Chains/SI intrigue?"

"President Trump's son, Donald Trump (Jr.) decided to promote the Power Spike Pro Beach Volleyball (Playstation) game in magazine interviews, claiming that pro-summer athletics with international flair made America feel more 'hospitable' to tourism and modern commercial traffic. Trump (Jr.) wanted Power Spike to appeal to a new generation of American youngsters interested in the traffic of gaming-themed marketing. Now, Power Spike was added to this Dartmouth/DKNY/SI 'acid'."

"Fashion had always been important to a marketing-sensitive America. Perhaps because America had always been a land of many peoples coming together for more liberty, marketing/fashion became synonymous with ideology. DKNY, Wal-Mart, and Apple had become pedestrian totems of great American idealism. Therefore, comic book characters such as Captain America and Scarlet Witch were re-presented with various colors/tones reflective of America's preoccupation with competitive fashion and trends. After all, youngsters loved the idea of 'bloodsport aesthetics'."

"Therefore, Charlize Theron, still connected to Eco-Chains, decided to make a Spielberg-produced film about Scarlet Witch (Marvel Comics) featuring a patriotic story about brainwashing in the fashion-world connected to a new world anti-capitalism conspiracy. The film, titled Scarlet Capital, was to be released on throwback laser-disc and would come with a transcribed screenplay/audiobook version on classic/vintage compact cassette (so fans could appreciate modern links between comics and commercialism). Was Theron the new Christie Brinkley?"

TRUMP: I like this new Eco-Chains company (Charlize Theron).
CARTER: Yes, I believe the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation is tied to it!
TRUMP: Are you a fan of social consciousness in capitalism?
CARTER: I think profitability in activism is very American, Mr. President.
TRUMP: Well, it seems that Eco-Chains is the new Reading Rainbow...
CARTER: It seems that commercialism had been tied to American pride!
TRUMP: As long as youngsters care about aesthetics, we can market rainbows.
CARTER: In other words, this is the era of 'Captain America discovery.'
TRUMP: Isn't that why we care about wholesale free-speech?
