Canada has been doing far more than our fair share in funding Ukraine. Perhaps more on a per capita basis than any nation. Due to the corruption in Ukraine and Canada having similar corruption issues (which both nations need to fix), this isn't too popular with some people.

As Canada is an increasingly smaller player in the world, I suppose we need to assist as much as we can.

I would be supportive of Canada assisting Taiwan. That would allow us to stay in line with U.S values. This is what has hurt us the most over decades as I can personally attest to.

Outstanding. But that $800 million doesn't even come close to the $10 billion arms package the Trump administation just approved for Taiwan.

Both are excellent decisions.
