I have always been in favor of the government insuring its people are taken care of.

Have you ever read the American Constitution? It's not the federal government's responsibility to "take care of" anyone.

80% of the money you send to Washington goes into the pocket of some bureaucrat. 20% goes to where they claim it's going.

If you think that's the best use of your paycheck, feel free to send it all in. Your Godvernment will gladly accept it.
