Seattle passed the $15/h min wage law. Can't ***** that Amazon doesn't pay enough when they pay exactly what they've been forced to pay. Another reason the COL is so high in Seattle is massive regulations, especially on housing/building codes - they can't build anything new to accommodate the influx of employees because Seattle wants to keep everything untouched and "pretty."
