Gore's making money usually didn't involve thousands of working people losing their jobs.

Romney went into places like AmPad, GS STeel, and so on, with the intent of looting it for whatever money they could for their investors. He went into something someone else had built, and picked the meat off the bones. And if there were guys like Joe Soptic whose wife died of cancer because Romney cancelled their health insurance, well, boo-hoo.

It seems to me that Gore really wanted to make CurrentTV work. Probably foolish in these days of corporate media that we could make something independent work, but hey, he tried. And when it didn't, he found a buyer who gave him a good price for it.
