Al Davis tried to destroy Marcus Allen and keep him out of the HOF.

I been watching all these old Raider games when Marcus Allen was with the Raiders because he was one of the greatest and most exciting running backs ever to watch.He had more rushing yards than any other Raiders running back at least back then and was very versatile out of the backfield catching balls as well.

If you read Marcus's autobiography you understand WHY Al Davis hated him. In his final year with the Raiders,he was really making the headlines how vocal he was about how his role had diminished and was being underutilized. Davis tried to break Allen and destroy his career and did everything to try and keep him out of the hall of fame. Art Shell was taking orders from David not to play him,he denied it back then to save his job but in later years privately told Marcus that was the case.you wont hear that publicly though from either of them. In a monday night game against Miami at halftime marcus being interviewed by Al Michales really went off on Davis. . Great job Marcus.You got the last laugh on that asshole and he FAILED to keep you out of the HOF.

As everybody knows,because of Davis,Allen got inducted into the HOF as he wished as a CHIEF and NOT a Raider..

Robert Kraft along with Jerry Jones is the NEW owner of the NFL to replace Davis as the most disgusting human being of all NFL owners.

I always hated Al Davis because he was the pioneer who got the ball rolling for the destruction of the NFL moving the Raiders out of Oakland to LA setting the tone for MANY teams to follow his lead. that was about the ONLY thing the NFL "EVER" did RIGHT that was humane and the right thing to do was try and block Davis from leaving Oakland. the NFL has gotten a 180 degrees different than from those days. Al Davis is burning in hell right now and his son mark will join him in the future taking away millions of jobs from Americans and their livilohoods.I have seen a couple people come on here before in the past and praise davis,they are a sad sorry excuse for a human being anybody that praises that ************.
