This is an urbanization-paranoia parable inspired by C.H.U.D.

Cheers,

Aktara was a beautiful superwoman who lived in the abyss of Earth's oceans. She had flowing red hair, a green swimming-suit, and a shimmering gold crown. Aktara swam around near the surface of the water sometimes, and goldfish would greet her and encircle her. Aktara was concerned mostly about the health of Earth's waters and their ecological purity. She became concerned that manmade pollution in modern civilization was making water simply unhealthy.

Aktara's concerns were not unfounded. Manmade pollution had created a 'metaphysical aura' of darkness on Earth, which raised from the netherworld a terrifying sewer-dwelling predator (humanoid but with a reptilian head and physique) named Sting. For every consideration of utopian idealism regarding the protection of Earth's waters that Aktara embodies, Sting personified the wrathful vengeance upon mankind's activities. Aktara was stern and wanted to admonish humanity, but she was very godly and wise, while Sting was a punisher from hell who simply wanted to create fear and panic. Who would win this great (and terrible) 'urban tunnel stand-off'?
