Our government was established by Christians and their Christian morals and ethics certainly played a role in the founding documents.

At the same time they had no intent to create a theocracy hence the First Amendment.

The founding fathers intent was freedom and among those freedoms was religious freedom. It just so happens that at that time the strong majority (probably 95%) of the population was Christian, so obviously Christian morals and ethics helped shape the United States and our laws.

People who deny our Founders were Christians, are no different than the wingnuts who deny the Holocaust. It's hardly worth the time to try and reason with them. Of course our Nation was founded by Christians and on Christian principles. It is what it is.

The governement they formed was not a Christian one. Where in the bible does the two houses of Congress come from? How about the President, is that position described by Jesus? Supreme Court?????

Two things. Coins were minted sporadically with In God We Trust. It was not printed on Federal Notes until after it was adopted as the national motto.

For the founders our national motto was E pluribus unum, "Out of many, one"
 
George Washington was a devout Christian and Father of our Country. I know that pisses the Christian-hater Wingnuts off, but it is truth & reality. Atheist Christian-Haters had absolutely nothing to do with the founding of our great Nation. However, they do have an awful lot to do with its current path to destruction. All their re-writing of History still wont change the fact their own wonderful Nation was created by their dreaded Christian Boogeyman. Exactly....

The founding fathers saw the flaws in monarchies and theocracies and how authoritarian both were.

Obviously one can be Christian and oppose a theocracy, especially given all the denominations of Christianity.

The United States wasn't founded with the intent of Christian theocratic rule, however it was certainly founded by Christians and created/manifested out of Christian principal/teachings.

Yeah and that means the secular should not push their ideology onto that of the majority.
Seculars have their freedom to believe what they want, seeing or hearing about God and Christ does you no harm, nor does it force you to believe in God or become a Christian.

Theocracy is a form of government in which the official policy is to be governed by immediate divine guidance or by officials who are regarded as divinely guided,of which all of our founders believed, and especially our first President George Washington. This is why we have always had Chaplains pray before our Government does their daily business.
Our Founders all believed that our Constitution was divinely inspired.
Even the one atheist in the room started to wonder after seeing how Divine inspiration had worked in the room and the end of writing the Constitution.
From the beginning of this nation, God rules over us and blesses us, because we are a Christian Nation.

The principles that this country was founded upon are irrelevant.

It was established in a time where firearms consisted of muskets, electricity was only found in the form of a lightning bolt, and globalization only applied to our manifest destiny.

And those principals are what keeps this country quasi-free to this day. Well until the authoritarian progressives decide to burn the Bill of Rights and declare a socialist Orwellian society in the name of "progress."

If the country was founded on Christain principles where are the biblical reference to the governement they formed?

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
