I watched most of a film last night called "The Substance." It was fairly terrible, but one thing struck me: the diminution of female sexual attractiveness with age.

There are basically two women who are showcased in the film, Demi Moore, who is in her early 60's and looks fabulous for her age, and her younger self, played by Margaret Qualley. Both actresses basically bare it all in the course of the film. If an alien saw photos of the two of them, nude, it would conclude that they look pretty much the same.

As an elderly lecher, it was striking to me how, despite Moore's fantastic condition for her age, she was not "sexy" in any way, while Qualley is hot as hell, viewed from the same angles. But the differences are subtle. The shape of their respective butts are similar but NOBODY would fail to identify the girl as contrasted with the middle-aged woman. Same is true for their faces. Time is unkind to beautiful women. For men, who gives a shit? You can still look good into your 60's.

My experience has been that physical characteristics/appearances are only part(HALF ?) the 'equation'. Attitude and presentation makes up the other half.

A slightly above average in appearance(attractiveness) woman can be exceptionally more attractive and alluring if her attitude and resulting 'presentation' is in a more sexually provocative mode.

"It ain't the meat, it's the motion ... "

Packaging is more essential than many appreciate ....

Aging wimmin who've had some experience and learned from such, often resent themselves in more alluring and enticing ways than those with lesser to no experience in being sexually provocative ~ inviting.

The male brain is wired to find women of child baring age attractive. Simple as that. Sexual attraction for both men and women is based fertility or virility depending on gender.

Having said that, my wife is very beautiful. So all that can go to hell. :D

Nature slams the female sex. Throughout her life.
Most women after childbirth have to fight weight, especially in the abdominal area. Many never get that 20 something body back unless they are willing/able to workout and diet for 10 hours or more a week. Men can cut a single cookie out of their diet and lose 5 lbs.
Nature is cruel. Men are hardwired to be attracted to young women. Women are hardwired to be attracted to men who makes them feel secure and protected. So the looks of a male is secondary to how they make the woman feel. So yes, we can still look good late in life, because we are not measured in the same way.
