Afrocentric Prom Dress

Did she get that at the Pottery Barn in the drapes section?
Pottery Barn is about as white as you can get. I doubt it. Just because you get your clothing there doesnt mean everyone else does.
You "doubt it". So you're not sure if that she didn't get it at the Pottery Barn?
I dont care were she got it from. She could make a table cloth look good.
Oh, you like the flat chested ones with a big ass.
Oh you like the flat assed ones with a big chest.

Just a well-proportioned body is all.

This beautiful young lady was basically told by a white teacher that a African prom dress would be too much. Too her credit she has since apologized for her comment as the dress went viral. Luckily Makalaya didnt listen and was confident enough to do it anyway. I commend here for being unabashedly Black.

In an Instagram post, Zanders wrote that she created her dress to show that “African style is beautiful,” that she is “comfortable with my Melanin and roots” (loving her capitalization of the word melanin), and that “there’s nothing like Black girl Magic.”

Wow! That's beautiful.

Not sure it is a good idea for a prom dance though.

Great idea for a wedding maybe.

Looks nice but I bet it's a pain in the ass to walk around in with its supersized bottom, or whatever it's called in dress lingo.

The girl's hot too. She's of the type of black women who really favor dating white guys.
if she did that would be her personal choice but I doubt she likes white guys at all considering her pro Black stance. Her date didnt look very white to me.

Handsome kid too (the boy).

Yours?

I applaud that they let a tranny attend the prom. Bravo.

You know you're gonna set some shit off with this OP, bwa ha ha ha ha.

Drop.

Dead.

Gorgeous.

The dress is ok.
I'm not the best judge of fashion. This may be a case of the person wearing the dress making the dress look better. The vivid colors and contrast with her skin color is eye popping.
I would have used florescent yellow...
You mean like this?

Chocolate candy is dangerous for whiteys.

God meant it for big black d!cks instead.

The bottom is bit much below the knees.

That's a pretty dress, but she doesn't look like a junior or senior in high school to me. Are you sure this is legit?
