It was the "guys" with more Aqua Net sprayed on them than all the broads in the audience that irritated me. They all sang with high pitched voices and all said the same bullshit. It was about getting girls in their late teens horned up.

Wrong. If an artist doesn't like the politician using their music, and they say nothing? It becomes a de facto endorsement of that politician by the artist in question. People will think that the artist supports that politician, even when they don't.

Same reason I wasn't allowed to wear my Navy uniform to any political rally for a specific candidate. If I did, and people saw me there in uniform, it would be taken as an endorsement by the Navy for a specific politician.
