ADP says the private sector contracted

ADP is a nonrandom sample. They could be off by 100k or more easily. It’s not a good sign, but I’ll wait for BLS numbers which I have no reason to believe are influenced by any of the Trump cronies.

The June 2025 jobs report painted a picture of a cooling labor market:

📉 Key Highlights

  • Private sector jobs fell by 33,000, according to the ADP report—well below expectations of a 100,000 gain.
  • Unemployment rate ticked up slightly to 4.3%, from 4.2%.
  • Job growth has slowed, averaging 135,000 per month over the past three months, compared to 170,000 in 2024.
  • Wage growth also decelerated modestly, and labor force participation dropped, especially among prime-age workers.

🛠️ Sector Breakdown

  • Service industries were hit hardest:

Far from adding the predicted 100,000 or so jobs the private sector actually lost 33,000.

I have a strong suspicion that the government report will show no such thing though. The government numbers will undoubtedly be fudged.

If true, this is good news for you., right?

Don't you want the government to take over everything so we can all have utopia?

After all, aren't the only good people in society in government?

From your own link:

To be sure, the ADP report has a spotty track record on predicting the subsequent government jobs report, which investors tend to weigh more heavily. May's soft ADP data ended up differing significantly from the monthly jobs report figures that came later in the week.

In the middle of the article is the part that matters:

The article is saying a gain is a lost. They are comparing "polling numbers" to one payroll service? Dow Jones asked economists questions? ADP wrote a report we didn't see.

CNBC who are democrat anti-Trumpers pro illegal aliens then write an article calling a 67,000 increase a decline.

Private payrolls lost 33,000 jobs in June, the ADP report showed, the first decrease since March 2023. Economists polled by Dow Jones forecast an increase of 100,000 for the month

That didn’t take long. Trump on track to cost us more jobs.

I accept the fact ADP doesn’t always reflect the BLS number but it rarely shows a decline when hiring was good.

Now we get a colored picture that shows government jobs democrats create.

Yes, we fired useless government workers.

Don't sweat the small stuff. It's too late now.

Democracy is lost! The regime is soaring to unchallenged popularity.

The Democrat congress is just playing out the game, with no team to support them.

Your President and VP both wear makeup but you don’t get to make up your own facts. ADP is private sector jobs and Federal workers have declined not increased over the decades even with the country’s population increasing.

You guys are just not very bright. Try your made up shit against someone way less smart than me.

Um, but we do have reason to believe that.

Hahaha, you are pretty stupid. The colored picture is not from ADP, first big error showing you lack comprehension skills.

Go try to bullshit someone else. The government is growing. Democrats are fighting to keep growing the government
