This is a huge amount of influence one country holds over one of the worlds major brands.
Ive been an adidas man since I was 12. Bought hundreds of them and would not be seen dead in any inferior brand, I am not sure I will buy any more.

Germany has always had a sensitive spot when it comes to Israel. Understandably so. But this is a step too far.

What's "ridiculous" about Israel complaining about a company having anti-semites as spokespeople?

The company isn't located in Israel, Adidas can do what they like if they are willing to deal with the push back.

"Kauft nicht bei Juden"

What is a step too far? That you are an anti-Semite and others do not tolerate this? Adidas is totally right: Since Olympia 1972 in Munich anti-Semitism under sportsmen is not tolerable. Specially when the Olympic games in France soon will start. It was a damn bad idea from them to remember to a shoe out of this time of history and to make this shoe [blood-]red and to let it present from a Palestinian woman who often verbally attacked Israel and all Jews. I guess Adidas should fire some more people. Let us all hope the best for Olympia 2024.

And, Tommy, when did you say to Palestinians they should force their "government", the terror organisation Hamas, to give back all kidnapped people who did do the very heavy crime to visit a music festival and to communicate with each other and not against each other?

Notice how for Hamas shills it's always some "conspiracy in the dark rooms",
not the actual murder of Olympic athletes... that's just fine,
and Hadids actually intend what it signals to Hamas.

Adidas just read a few of your posts online.

Isn't everyone an antisemite these days? even the UN and the ICJ :abgg2q.jpg:

This question is more interesting than you thought about when you spoke it out, anti-Semite.

Indeed is the whole world able to be wrong and only a single human being is able to be right. This explains for example why "individualism" is so damn important in the USA. But "critics" on Jews and Israel is in very most cases not critics on individuals but critics on a strange unknown collective structure - although concrete Jews are people like all others. The only difference: two Jews - three opinions.

By the way: Only courageous people ask themselves how they became a coward. Anti-Semites think they are no cowards. In Germany many people under Hitler felt to be encouraged when 200 of us tried to murder the one German who had been a Jew.

God bless all Jews. God bless Israel. Be encouraged. Love life. Death is no solution.

Adidas should not be making money off a terrorist attack. It's as bad as some Trump merchs that popped up just after the shooting incident. These companies don't care about human life.

As I've said a billion times, if you're in the public eye, just shut up about politics and religion.

You've always bought adidas? Aldi and Lidl have been selling them longer than I first thought.

The adidas brand markets itself by reissuing previous designs as new. They figure that we got it right so why change.

And thats why they are beloved. There is a trainer repair shop in Wrexham that will refurbish worn out adidas.. It does other shoes as well but that is only cover against legal action by adidas.. They are very good. They will put your initials in gilt on the outside. Gorgeous.

I was travelling up the coast a few years back and I found a pair of Gazalles in a store in my size. I had no cash on me so I took the box and hid it behid a pile of puma. I thought it would be safe there. Then i drove 60 mile home and 60 mile back to buy them. The feeling I had going home cannot be described. I left them in the box for two years. Until a special occasion.

The point is that in adidas world 1972 was more important for the launch of that shoe and not the olympic games or a terror attack. Maybe srael should issue a list of dates that they would like us not to use. ?

Anyway it seems perverse to describe a Palestinian woman as "anti semitic" for being critical of Israel when they are bombing the **** out of her country and slaughtering her people in schools and hospitals. That is having your cake and eating it.

A bit like describing a Jewish person as "anti german" for shouting about Belsen and the other camps.

Nowhere have I referred to "conspiracy". You make a straw man.

They belittle the term when they throw it around like that. I think that is just an extreme minority. Anti semites do exist and are easyy to spot on here..
I think it is just a protective thing to excuse any atrocity that the Jewish state perpetuates.

Yes they damage the Jewish community with their outlandish smears.

Ive got a few friends who are Jewish. They are British rather than Jewish. and are good people. The people who "represent" the Jewish community seem to be fanatics on the whols. Maybe that is broad brush.. But being Jewish doesnt absolve you of guilt for your actions.

Same here i have known quite a few Jewish people, my family Doctor when i was growing up was Jewish, i had no problem from any of them, the only one i clashed with was about twenty years ago he was working at the same place as me, one day he told me he had lived in Israel for a few years and served in the Army his home town here was Manchester, before i could stop myself i exploded and challenged the guy on what gave him the right to go to Israel and start kicking the Palestinians about, i said you are English from Manchester you Moron it got quite heated ended when the manager shouted what the hell is going on and broke the argument up, i never spoke to the moron again.
