People here are seeing the benefits, and minding their blue behavior well. The best "protest" they can scrounge up in the "cities" here always consists of ten or so actually willing to be pepper sprayed, three or four who will go as far as being arrested and a hundred looky-lous who vanish when it gets dicey. This is exactly what it was like in the early 70's when we were "protesting" the war.

So far, we're keeping the pest population under control.
