Really? This is all you have? A school that are so stuck up their own asses that they want to censor something just because it's about a gay rights activist? They wouldn't have censored anything about MLK Jr.. Unless the kid talked about sex specifically and had graphic demonstrations ... why the hell would a school be so idiotic, it's part of history. You MAY want to take up your complaint with the COURTS, Starting with the Supreme Court. What I find HILARIOUS is Jillian keeps reminding us she is a Lawyer and posted this crap anyway.

The Courts have held repeatedly that school children do NOT have all the rights and protections of speech as adults. That schools can and must at times censor or control that freedom in a school environment.

Because little SUSIE was upset. A 6th grader got mad and her mother ran to the ACLU and dumb ass's on the left are applauding it. 6th Graders do not now nor have they EVER had the full protection of the 1st Amendment while in school. The Supreme Court has ruled on this before.

How and when a Teacher allows a Student to read a report is no business of the ACLU. The school made a judgement call. WHICH we pay them to make. She was not censored at all, as they let her read the report anyway.

The school should threaten to sue the ACLU for a frivolous threat to sue them. It is PAST time we start standing up to the IDIOTS.
