American troops in Syria are protecting Kurdish lands. The Kurds should at least receive autonomy in Syria, Iraq and Turkey. However, Turkey oppresses the Kurdish people in Turkey itself, and the pro-Turkish opposition and militants in Syria can hinder Kurdish freedom. Therefore, Turkey can become an ally of the United States only if the Kurds in Syria and Turkey are free, otherwise they are enemies of the United States.

Do Americans care about the Kurds? Doubtful. Trump got elected and one policy is to fuck over the Ukrainians. People don't care, they just want more money, nothing else.

Firstly, the United States is obliged to help peoples in their struggle for freedom, secondly, the United States always helps the Indo-Aryan peoples of Eurasia, since they are brothers in blood and spirit.

That's HILARIOUS.

Venezuela who had a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED LEADER, and the US went and helped OVERTHROW HIM because they didn't like him, and the group doing it claimed to be promoting "democracy"....

The US doesn't want countries to have "freedom", the Monroe Doctrine was the exact opposite, many countries ended up with dictators because they US liked the stability it gave them.

Oh, always helps does it? Like in 1939 to 1941 when it didn't help?

the problem is these backward theocracies, monarchies and dictatorships don't want freedom rebel

In this case, it was about the Kurds' fight for freedom and independence of their country, torn to pieces by empires. The Kurds will not reject help US .

Don't confuse democracy with freedom. The German plebeian rabble always votes for slavery. Pinochet was a dictator of freedom.

the Q is why the USofA is involved ~S~
Under the obligations of the Monroe Doctrine, for the freedom of oppressed peoples and the punishment of imperial invaders. This is the highest mission of the United States
