American troops in Syria are protecting Kurdish lands. The Kurds should at least receive autonomy in Syria, Iraq and Turkey. However, Turkey oppresses the Kurdish people in Turkey itself, and the pro-Turkish opposition and militants in Syria can hinder Kurdish freedom. Therefore, Turkey can become an ally of the United States only if the Kurds in Syria and Turkey are free, otherwise they are enemies of the United States.

Venezuela who had a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED LEADER, and the US went and helped OVERTHROW HIM because they didn't like him, and the group doing it claimed to be promoting "democracy"....
The US doesn't want countries to have "freedom", the Monroe Doctrine was the exact opposite, many countries ended up with dictators because they US liked the stability it gave them.
Oh, always helps does it? Like in 1939 to 1941 when it didn't help?
