The correct spelling of her name is Miriam. She was Jewish, NOT Christian. Who the **** cares if she was sinless. At least get the name right.

Miriam's name was change one very ugly and Antisemitic reason. She was a Jewess. Yosef's name was changed for the same reason.
Yeshua had have his name changed as well for the same reason. The very early and very Antisemitic Christian Church could have Christian worshipping an executed Jew, nor could his parents be Jewish.

It does not work that way. Scripture does not say that she never sinned.
Her name is different in different languages
Mary in English, Marie in French, Maria in Spanish, etc.
