I use a Blu myself, and it's driving me crazy that the article I read about this seems to have vanished since I first read it this morning, but you'll just have to take my word for it since I care. If you guys happen to run across a red dot on your screen, ignore it. Somebody is trying to spy on you.

They're called Indicator lights and were rolled out with Android 11 and Apple's iOS 14 operating systems. They indicate if your microphone (red or orange dot) or your camera (green dot) is being used by one of your apps.
If you open an app on your phone that has permission to use either or both the mic and camera the dots show up indicating one or both functions are being used.
However those show up in the upper right corner of the screen, a red dot in the middle of the screen is most likely a dead pixel so the phone will need repair or replacement.
None of this has anything to do with being spied on, that's an urban myth.

I'm sorry, Dave. I can't do that...
