A very long cruise

It is not one long cruise, it is many cruises, back to back. The one good thing, however, is that you probably don't have to exit the ship as each cruise ends, like normal people do on a back-to-back.

Consider this as an alternative to a nursing home, where $10k per month is not unusual. Further, what if you are a geezer with a couple mil in investments and no heirs? Not a bad deal. Being pampered for nine months straight? Not for me, but I can see it for some old folks (my age, 75).

Does the 60k included food and booze like most cruises?
Unless you’re tiered (which I imagine this guys is), booze isn’t included on Royal. Food yes. There is premium dining that you have to pay for but yes, you can eat as much food as you want for free. Booze--no.
 
Sure beats a nursing home and when and if you check out, they can just dump you overboard and save the kids a lot of trouble.
