In Democratic systems, openly engaging in a rigged vote is CRUSHING to your political future unless you totally control the vote counters.

Check out this chart in the Trump vrs Cruz contest in April.

It is a fairly competitive race, going back and forth between Cruz and Trump, with Trump winning about 2 of every 3 contests.

Then the APRIL 8 Colorado Republican Convention happens, where Cruz stole that whole states delegation.

BOOM! Cruz' delegate wins shrink to virtually ZERO from then on out. He won not even one more state after that.

Committing heavy handed rigged elections is suicide for any political campaign.

When the party internal machinery is loaded this much in favor of one candidate, is there a reasonable basis for assuming that the close votes of places like Kentucky last night are legit?
