And I use the word "our" loosely.

Here we have an article from CNN, about a backlash to Target's reversal of its DEI policies.

"Then came the backlash", it's called. Implying past tense, like it already happened.

Reading through the article though, they never tell you what the backlash IS. It's just a bunch of speculation by marketing executives.

Reading very carefully, we discover that "the backlash" consists of social media posts.

And a boycott petition by a black pastor that has a grand total of 50,000 signatures.

And a 4% reduction in customer traffic during the month of January. Well duh, it's been snowing all over the country duh, it's winter duh.

CNN is falling all over themselves trying to make Target look bad, because Target doesn't advertise on CNN.

The morons at CNN seem to think they can "create" a backlash by gaslighting the American public. And Target's customers.

But guess what? I was just IN the big Target store, not 30 minutes ago. There's no backlash, they had plenty of customers. Business as usual. Lots of black people shopping there. And Latinos, and even a dude with a turban.

CNN seems to be in the gaslighting business. Which is true for a lot.of our media. And now that Trump has pulled their USAID funding, AP is asking for donations and Reuters wants to charge you a buck to read their "news".

CNN has been up for sale for over a year, and no one's buying. No one wants it. The only reason they're not bankrupt is because they have a contract with the airports. So they have to gaslight the public with outrageous headlines in an effort to get viewership.

This is pretty much true for all of our media these days. And Google pushes this crap into the newfeeds - why? - because CNN pays them to do it.

The real headline should be "backlash against CNN", but of course they'll never publish the truth.

Well providing their platform a platform in Current Events might help boost their screens and help them out in their operation a little anyway...

Yes!

Fox News agreed Tuesday to pay Dominion Voting Systems nearly $800 million to avert a trial in the voting machine company’s lawsuit that would have exposed how the network promoted lies about the 2020 presidential election.

The stunning settlement emerged just as opening statements were supposed to begin, abruptly ending a case that had embarrassed Fox News over several months and raised the possibility that network founder Rupert Murdoch and stars such as Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity would have to testify publicly.

“The truth matters. Lies have consequences,” Dominion lawyer Justin Nelson told reporters outside a Delaware courthouse after Superior Court Judge Eric Davis announced the deal.

Outside of the $787.5 million promised to Colorado-based Dominion, it was unclear what other consequences Fox would face. Fox acknowledged in a statement “the court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false,” but no apology was offered.

Most of the MSM are bought and paid for by the democrat machine.

Not really. The media has just gotten consistently worse.

Rupert Murdoch is as full of shit as anyone else. Trump should investigate him.

The problem is Americans still believe the BS spewing out of the TV set. In spite of overwhelming evidence that it's BS.

Don't ask me why Americans are so gullible, I don't know.

The FCC is worthless. DOGE should defund it.

OR, make it work again.

do you recall when Michael Powell (Colin's son) deregulated it Scruff?

This smacks of the same stupidity SCOTUS used to eliminate wireless privacy.

Then again, these are the same fools who told us money is speech.

Too bad Trump can't fire them. :p

What that graphic shows is that only one of the six outlets is watchable for Republicans, Newscorp.

Maybe Musk needs to buy MSNBC to provide more balance? He should give Joe Rogan an hour or two.

free speech became a whole lot more expensive......

you two see right on through this....... ;) ~S~
