a nightlit from a tortorise shell....we hope

lineseed oil shell:

step 3:

clue the nightlight into shell....stuff with puffs and level the bulb with coins

you have to have a night light that turns on and off...one what senses light to turn on wont work unless you risk drilling the shell...make sure you turn the light on before gluing...you have to be sure the bulb changes easily....

fuck ups so far:

hubbys walk in house...plucks up the night light and goes..what ya doing....well i was gluing that down

then i get the glue dryed..takes 24 hours... and it doesnt work....ahhh...i carefully unstick and unpeel it all...i didnt turn the light on..so its back setting waiting for the glue to dry ...either gonna be real neat or real nasty



...but we wont know for 24 hours

this is after curing for 24 hours.......it just peeled off the night light....so on to another glue...

this is the 2nd attempt to clean shell....had to use an exacto knife to clean it

okay from straight ahead it looks fine....but if are on the side you can see the gap.....next shell i will know better things lol...

as a success i give it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10....
