I'm not sure why there's a pop-top. So you can stand up to pee?

The icing on the cake is the 4-cylinder diesel powerplant.

Should be a fantastic touring vehicle: big enough to be comfortable but not so big as to be obnoxious, and reasonably economical (aside from the MSRP, that is).

My guess is the pop top is so you won't feel like you just paid for an overpriced mini-van.

Not to be argumentative, but I don't think this thing qualifies as a "mini van" under any definition, though it appears to be a van.

I would bet that one could buy one helluva "conversion van" for the cost of this Mercedes, and those can also be spectacular on the inside.

This is a fantastic van and what comfort while traveling in it. This seems like a dream come true.
