A.I. Movies in Our Near Future

Then there's The Flintstones the way it should be made. Wilma 😍

A trailer to the AI Jetsons movie. If they ever make this, I'd definitely watch!

Not I. There is no AI future in my movie database!

What makes movies worthwhile are the people, not the images. Watching fake people in synthetic perfect situations with predetermined, exactingly scripted, poll-tested scenarios with medically and cosmetically flawless bodies having artificial reactions might appeal to my toaster, but not me.

Most of all, I will not solicit these movies because if they are a flop, the studios will soon quit doing them!

It's all white (((they))) don't like that.

The day will come soon that you won't know the difference

The day will come soon that you won't know the difference

Get real. I have a lot of background both in computers as well as psychology--- I will ALWAYS tell the difference, because one is REAL, the other simply emulated from a synthetic database. For me not to tell the difference, the AI would have to have true consciousness, feelings, creativity and individuality, not imitation.

When computers achieve consciousness, feelings and awareness, the world will turn to shit.

White and perfect -- at least the women 😂

SO perfect, it is just pure fantasy--- they don't exist, all that crud will do is skew people's perception when they actually do deal with REAL people.

It is the video equivalent of a sex doll.

AI isn't entertainment, it is just technological and mental masturbation. You might like it and kids might go in for it, but women will hate AI movies.

The Hollywood elite would be wise to save their money and stop pissing it away on mansions, Bentleys, Rolexes, and trophy wives.

Right on because we all know movies with real actors are perfect representations of reality.

That is not the point at all and you know it. Whatever representation of reality they are, real actors are at least REAL actors, operating within the gamut of real people possibilities, so are SOME representation of reality and not just pure computer-generated fantasy.

A machine which knows nothing of actual reality interpreting for you their projection of reality.

Just one further step along the line of the death of Hollywood, where once great movies depended on the rare acting and personality skills of special actors. In the AI universe, /everyone/ will now become a Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney or a Kirk Douglas. And every actress will have a perfect body, perfect tits and complexion. There will be no more great actors or rare talents--- what would they do? People once players on a stage of their creation now reduced to mere observers. Plastic entertainment for a plastic society.

Doesn't sound like you've ever seen a Marvel superhero movie or a stop-action gorilla climbing the Empire State Building or a Disney cartoon. AI is in addition to the others, not a replacement for them.

No, as Hollywood has increasingly replaced good acting and writing with CG graphics, my interest in movies has declined, not that all of it is bad, if used judiciously to enhance the film rather than totally make it.

But, just as with the internet and the enormous harm it has done to society, there is real harm in making movies 100% all AI fantasy that apparently once again will be lost on our leaders as all they see before them are 💲 dollar signs. 💲
