Golly gee...and here I thought there was a chance you'd approve of President Obama's words.
If Obama had not mentioned / referred to HIMSELF 45 times while speaking at the memorial for 5 murdered policemen....
If Obama had not called the surviving 7 policemen who were ambushed and shot, had not called the 5 murdered policemen at their own Memorial service - in front of their grieving families, and had not called their fellow officers 'racists'...
If Obama had not told the officers in attendance of this memorial and officers around the country to put themselves in the shoes of Black Lives Matters members - who CALLED for this violence / these murders, who danced and celebrated the shooting/murders, and who taunted the Dallas police after the shooting / murders - to feel THEIR (BLM's) pain and understand what THEY (BLM) are going through...
If Obama had not turned a memorial service for 5 murdered heroes into a platform to lecture those in attendance about racism, call them racists, semi-justify the murders/attack by inferring the police deserved it because they are 'inherently racist', and had not shown support for a radical racist hate-group (what else do you call a group that calls for the murder of all whites and cops, celebrates the murder of cops, and taunts the fellow officers of the slain policemen?)....
Common decency and common sense dictates you don't use murder victims' funeral as an opportunity to 'pi$$ on their graves' in front of their fellow officers and grieving families. Liberals, it seems, TRULY can't / won't understand this and instead are determined to try to turn this around and make those outraged / offended by all of this the 'bad guys' rather condemn the despicable act of using funerals for officers slain by a hate-filled racist terrorist as a platform to condemn whites, police, and show support for a racist hate group. 'Common Decency', 'Common Sense', and 'Respect' is beyond Liberals, it seems, especially when they have the opportunity to politicize any incident, even funerals.
I
honestly expected MORE from our President in a moment / occasion such as this. I HOPED for more from our President. He had an opportunity to do a truly respectful and honorable act by praising the fallen Dallas police, for honoring their service, their dedication to serve and protect others, and to honor their ultimate sacrifice. These policemen had the lowest complaint record in decades and were honored and respected by those in their community, and instead of mentioning any of this he called them 'racists'.
The speech he gave might have been an
awesome speech to give in
retrospect...a few days or a week from now...
but not at the policemen's funeral / Memorial.
