.Should call your kids and take your name off your bank accounts before you get scammed.

Out of curiosity, where had you heard Alex Pretti had been fired?.

Just trying to route this back to the topic.Translation: -- "Damn! I have no answer to your question so I have to try distraction!"

My parents were almost scammed, but they asked me before doing anything. They know better.
You believe too much of what you read on the internet. You’re a target for disinformation.
Gun had nothing to do with his death. Was Pretti culpable for his actions, yes. But he was legally allowed to CCW. He did not brandish that weapon. He was disarmed by some idiot who didn't communicate that he disarmed him. ICE was very heavy handed at their handling of Pretti. That is false. What ultimately led to Pretti's death was three things. His inner rage at the failure of his own personal life. His decision to confront ICE again after his first encounter. And finally carrying a loaded, hair trigger gun that sadly went off which startled the officers into shooting him.
.But he was legally allowed to CCW
How do you know the man wasn't going to work? Did you check the log to see if he was clocking in or out. Then why does he never go to work?... he has been following ICE around for six months... I hope his death wakes others up....
Sure, but that doesn't deserve being shot over. Again, two truths can exist at the same time. Plenty of people are disarmed, whether they are legally allowed to carry or illegally carrying and not shot. Why, because they complied and the proper restraint was executed by the LEOs..
And everyone who is legally permitted to CCW knows that they have the legal obligation to, whenever their firearm is on their person, also be carrying ID and CCW permit, neither of which Pretti had when he acted up for all of America.

If someone kicked my taillight off, I would come out of my car with my .380 pointed right at his/her CBM.he only damaged an I.C.E. car slightly, the cop got out of the car and initiated the violence that escalated into the death / murder of Pretti.
i say this because the Republicans are always so incredibly anti-crime, that they lose track of things like 'excessive force' on a regular basis :-(
And that's probably escalating unnecessarily. Someone kicking your car doesn't justify pulling a firearm. Your car is not capable of death, therefore doesn't need lethal force to protect it. These type of statements only help reinforce the left and their false narratives of 'gun nutters'.If someone kicked my taillight off, I would come out of my car with my .380 pointed right at his/her CBM.![]()
I'd want to settle the matter then and there. If someone kicks my car while I'm in it, they aren't after my car.And that's probably escalating unnecessarily. Before you flame me, I am a CCW holder and a 2A advocate.
you would end up in jail,,I'd want to settle the matter then and there.
Then you'd probably go to prison for murder. You would be prosecuted for escalating and using lethal force because someone kicked your car.I'd want to settle the matter then and there.
You might want to apply some thinking to my scenario. If someone kicks my car while I'm in it, they aren't after my car. Neither was Pretti. He was goading ICE.Then you'd probably go to prison for murder. You would be prosecuted for escalating and using lethal force because someone kicked your car.
You should probably take a few courses and understand how your state views and reacts to acts of lethal force. That was the biggest benefit in taking a CCW course. It's now how to use the firearm, the greater benefit is understanding ramifications of using lethal force after the incident, justified or not.
I'd be very careful stating anything you just did, written or not, because someone if needed, could subpoena all your digital communications and something like you said could be used against your own character witness to justify that you're a hot head looking to shoot someone.
Might want to be a bit more careful.
your life isnt in danger if someone kicks your car,,You might want to apply some thinking to my scenario. If someone kicks my car while I'm in it, they aren't after my car. Neither was Pretti. He was goading ICE.
Good luck convincing that to a Grand Jury and the DA.You might want to apply some thinking to my scenario. If someone kicks my car while I'm in it, they aren't after my car. Neither was Pretti. He was goading ICE.
You know nothing about his personal life. That is false. What ultimately led to Pretti's death was three things. His inner rage at the failure of his own personal life. His decision to confront ICE again after his first encounter. And finally carrying a loaded, hair trigger gun that sadly went off which startled the officers into shooting him.
I go against many Conservatives when I say Ashley Babbitt deserved to get shot. She was unarmed but she didn’t adhere to the Police Officer’s warnings and commands. This coupled with here rage represented a threat to the officer. So why is the Pretti killing justified and Babitt is not?
She was killed while interfering with Gov't Business and while breaking and entering.
not following orders isnt justification for killing her,,I go against many Conservatives when I say Ashley Babbitt deserved to get shot. She was unarmed but she didn’t adhere to the Police Officer’s warnings and commands. This coupled with here rage represented a threat to the officer.
Interesting, it marked the only time I saw the Left cheer and justify shooting of an unarmed person who represented a threat to law enforcement. The officer was Black, the victim was White.
