"Hicks, the second highest ranking State Department official in Libya when the consulate was attacked on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, confirmed the following facts under oath: There were no protests outside the U.S. compound; the anti-Islamic YouTube video denounced by the administration was a “non-event” in Libya and had nothing whatsoever to do with the assault that night; Hicks’ team knew almost immediately that the attack was carried out by terrorists; and all of this information was relayed to Washington in the hours and days afterward.
Hicks is a decorated, 22-year civil service veteran, so his testimony is not easily dismissed. More importantly, it throws into stark relief the actions and public statements of the administration in the aftermath of the attack.

One is that Beth Jones, an official in the State Department, sent an email on September 12 bluntly acknowledging terrorists participated in the attacks (“The group that conducted the attacks, Ansar al-Sharia, is affiliated with Islamic terrorists.&#8221 The other is that Hicks said his “jaw dropped” when he heard Rice make her claims about spontaneous protests. You are right. Nixon covered up a two bit burglary. But it became worse than that. He told bold face lies that got bigger and bigger.

Obama and Hillary had to hide incompetence. Instead of coming out and saying, "We failed at protecting and saving the men at our embassy," they dug their hole larger by introducing a stupid video that no one had seen and ruined another person's life in the meantime.

They encouraged the woeful James Clapper to be part of their plan to act as an advisor to that (check his resume!) mess and sent the UN Ambassador out to hang doing interviews on talk shows doing their bidding, showing no shame. Although we know now, the White House and Hillary both knew that evening that it was a terrorist attack and even who was behind it, the president continued with with the lame story of the the insensitive video Sept. 25th at the UN during a speech.

No, he didn't cover up a crime. Unless incompetence, refusing to send help to our men under attack isn't a crime, it can't be treason, or can it? Are you helping the enemy when you fail to engage him? Just a thought.
