A 29-year-old Afghan national Identified As Shooter of National Guard Members in Washington, D.C.

He applied under the Biden administration. You'd have to look into the whole process before you can simply cast blame on this administration.
I did not blame anyone, did I? Nope did not and just stated a fact before I saw the other post with the link some dick head (not you) wanted me to provide when it was in plain sight on this thread. Biden admin should have vetted better than they supposedly did.

And did they say, how or who he got the gun from? Can people granted asylum, qualify to get a gun? I'm not certain??!?
He got the gun from Virginia. Everybody that has a gun in D.C. got their gun from Virginia.

If you read the Times of India article (It has a bunch of things in it, so I can't copy and paste,) the guy was well respected by the Americans he worked with, but in recent years became sullen and withdrawn. Kind of understandable, you give up everything you know to support a cause and the people who recruit you cast you aside when you are done with you?

Sounds more like a bitter person than a terrorist.
Terrorist and bitter people are certainly not mutually exclusive you crazy ****. In fact, every terrorist is a pathologically bitter person.

Frankly I worry about you slipping the fragile bounds that separate them.

What’s all this discussion about how he got the gun? Are we now blaming gun laws?

The fact is that the Democrats have villainized our brave soldiers, comparing them to Hitler’s Gestapo, and the result is that a deranged illegal alien Muslim attempted to murder two soldiers on American soil.

We need to round up and call in ALL the Muslims who were quickly herded in from Afghanistan and do thorough vetting before any more terrorist acts occur.

Fair enough.

Do you not understand the concept of an ambush attack? Or did you just spout off without bothering to learn anything about this topic? Either way you are making a complete fool of yourself.'
so more guns make us safer unless it's an ambush attack? Sorry, but aren't most gun deaths the result of ambush attacks?

I guess it depends if he was issued a green card after he was granted asylum. Those are the facts that need to be unpacked.

If you have a green card, you are not considered a prohibited person under § 922(g), and may legally purchase and possess firearms—assuming you are not disqualified for other reasons (e.g., felony conviction, mental health, unlawful drug use).
It said DHS granted him Asylum in April.... So no, he did not have a Green Card, so he was ineligible to own a gun.

I looked it up....
Once granted asylum, after a 1 YEAR WAIT, they can apply for a Green Card, then after 5 years with a green card, they can apply for Naturalization.

The general opinion of who, exactly?

Frankly, we recruited these people, we kind of had an obligation to them.

Let's just say that Biden's CIA is not held in high regard.

It does not make much sense to me to bring in a guy that was a traitor to his own people.

Sure, use them but leave them there to their own devices.

That’s a clear photo of a Muslim traitor. Capture him and send him back to whatever country he came from - and do it TODAY.
The enemy within.
This is treason and inciting INSURRECTION. He needs to be dealt with accordingly

And it being illegal to own a gun means, there is definitely an accomplice or an accessory out there to be found!

Don’t be stupid. The guns are for those occasions when they’re interdicting crime or arresting criminals and they encounter resistence If it were a combat situation you might have a point. But alas…
Arresting criminals is a job for cops, isn't it? Is that why you want more guns on the street? So everybody can arrest criminals?

Because they were ambushed, dumbass. And the perp himself was shot. I’m not sure yet by who but I can only logically assume it was someone who was armed.
Yes, somebody shot him, but tell me again how much safer were the injured guardsmen to have been armed?
