Sad day. I used to be a hawk. Until the first boots hit the ground in Afghanistan. In my opinion it would have been ok to bomb the piss out of the Taliban. But no invasion. I strongly believe that every life lost in Afghanistan and Iraq was a horrific, shameful waste of American lives. And it looks like we are hell bent on wasting even more. God help this country.
