Everyone knows that Yankees don't count.
Its the pinstripes... you can't look away... and I want to thank the OP for this thread... people today can not understand the Normandy invasion... even troops who have served today in combat marvel at that kind of bravery and commitment...

Although they were puking their guts and scared as hell, many made it...My Grandfather was part of that mob of American soldiers on the beach that day.

Quit being so dramatic. It’s not like any or them got misgendered or anything.

They would have been scared but knew it was something they had to do, over the years i have met many veterans in Normandy and also the Netherlands, i always let them do the talking and i just listened to their experiences it was like living History after reading all the books about what took place, sad to say those days are coming to an end soon there won't be any alive.
