My boy marched in the Rose Festival parade today. He plays a baritone horn. Not today though. That would be a miserable sucker to carry on a 4 mile hike in 82* weather in a hot uniform. I have a great deal more sympathy for the tuba players now.

(Actually, I saw very few trombones or Cornets. )

He looked real good. I am full of father pride.

A neat thing about baritone is that its sheet music is printed in both treble and bass clef....Learning to read both increases your flexibility as to what instruments you can play.
