I turned down countless opportunities to see him live. I thought you had to be a musician to see him.
I missed him too.
I saw a lot back in the day but the top five (pre-1985) I didn't not miss seeing the most ;

That wasn't long enough so Nashville had no interest
 
Generation X and Millennials didn't grow up in the golden era of rock and roll unfortunately, they missed out, 1964-1975 were the golden era.
I remember 69 in 1969. I refer to it as the pre-Gillette era.
That was about the time they invented dental floss

I always liked the Album art back then .. Lost art I guess.
