For the record, sedition is the advocacy of violence against the government. The lawmakers involved were advocating peace by the government. It's kind of literally the opposition of sedition.

Following trumps' orders Hegseth is building special forces within the military loyal to the president , not the Constitution or the American people. That is cause for alarm if there ever was one.

There were no "illegal" orders when the "suggestion" was made. Is that what Congress members suggested during WW2? What would WW2 have been like if soldiers second guessed their superior's orders? What if half of the platoon thought it wasn't a good idea to storm that beach in Normandy?
