With Ken Griffin's personal donation of $5 million to Pastor Brooks community center fund, that provides him with enough capital to plain groundbreaking in October of this year. Pastor Brooks has made this happen with zero support from local or national leaders of either political party, BLM or Al Sharpton. This is how real change for the better happens.

| Billionaire Ken Griffin Gives $5 Million Donation Paving the Way for Groundbreaking in October of 2022!! The Project H.O.O.D. Capital Campaign has received a personal gift of $5 million from Founder and CEO of Citadel, Kenneth C. Griffin. With this gift, Griffin has not only secured naming rights for the Atrium of the Project H.O.O.D. Leadership & Economic Opportunity Center but helped to bring attention to violence that continues to plague Chicago. This is the largest single gift that Project H.O.O.D. has received since its Founder and CEO, Pastor Corey Brooks began his historic Rooftop Campaign on November 20, 2021. This brings the grand total raised to $18 Million dollars. The goal is to raise $35 Million dollars to build a state-of-the-art Leadership & Economic Opportunity Center on what is known as one of the most violent areas in Chicago.
