Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) officers received a report of a human-cougar incident with documented injuries on a trail northeast of Fall City, Washington at 12:48 p.m.
A woman was taken to the hospital with injuries, according to WDFW. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
A cougar on the scene was removed by WDFW personnel. A hound handler was also dispatched to locate a potential second cougar involved in the incident.
The cyclists were probably holding up traffic and the cats had some place to be.
Nature you be scary.....But it could have been worse....Much worse.
Jokes aside why do folks that decide to go into cougar country do so unarmed?
