Two more DC police officers who responded to the US Capitol insurrection have died by suicide, authorities announced on Monday, bringing the total to four officers who have taken their own lives in the aftermath of the January 6 riot.

"Officer Gunther Hashida, assigned to the Emergency Response Team within the Special Operations Division, was found deceased in his residence on Thursday, July 29," department spokesperson Kristen Metzger told CNN in a statement. The deaths mark four known suicides by officers who responded to the Capitol during the attack, and three known suicides by a DC officer specifically. Metropolitan Police Officer Kyle DeFreytag was found dead on July 10, Metropolitan Police Officer Jeffrey Smith and US Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood, also responded to the insurrection and later died by suicide."

No use in trying to deny the obvious...ever since this Jan 6th commission started to develop; more officers have supposedly died by suicide. What is Pelosi and the Democrats trying to hide?? Many were saying these officers were going to go public about the fact that the whole January 6th riot was all a false flag attack carried out by the FBI and Biden to smear Trump and his supporters; as well as target conservatives and arrest them as political prisoners. This is very similar to the 100 or so murders Hillary ordered to keep those people from exposing her...and she has basically gotten away with it...why are we letting Pelosi, the FBI and others get away with the murder of 4 police officers??

Now that so much is brought to light, I find it VERY VERY strange that four officers committed suicide after this riot. We see the officers just walking around with the protestors.

Were the afraid this would come out and they would be eviscerated like the J6 folks?

It's not suicide it's the deep state covering its tracks..... The fact is they are murderous bunch on a par with any third world country or banana Republic when it comes to absolutely silencing a potential liability.

Yeah statistically as a group it's the way the hell over the bar for an average or a mean. Anyone school and statistics would raise an eyebrow at that number during this time period.

Members of congress are also complicit. All the sneering, all the denial: Just like tourists - The Cap Cops were crisis actors - They opened the doors for these patriots - bunch of overweight rental cops.

Imagine that ON TOP of the trauma of that horrible day spending hours getting beat with metal flagpoles, popped at the base of the skull by stun guns and engaged for hours in medieval hand to hand combat.

These families should file a class action civil case against the Insurrectionist in Chief. Include idiots like Clyde, Gosar, RonAnon Johnson - The lot. They would win.
