i understand that when i wanted a quick and easy bump on my GPA in college, poli sci was damn near as reliable as art history, although art history had the added benefit of being able to drink beers in the back of the darkened lecture hall.

yeah, yet more dishonesty from the other side, claiming that anybody who needs help is lazy and just wants things for free. Like they want to live in poverty, its so great to them. Stupid

Or that anybody who wants people to have a source of help when they needed just feel entitled. I will never likely have to use that money, but its nice to have people in need get some help, and I'll gladly pay my share of taxes to make it happen.

Funny thing is many conservatives claim that there are organizations and they donate their money instead of rather having it mandated. Problem with that is how many people would help a drug addict? a homeless person out on the street. A pregnant, poor teenager that has no where to go. the black inner city kid. These people would claim the moral high ground and refuse to help many people they found live moral lifestyles, so likely they would never get help through charities
