Whether or not it has merit remains to be seen so try to at least be honest about. No, I'm not. In more than one post I said something like : 'Assume the worst, that the dad got angry at a seventy-two year old for supporting abortion after living a long life himself and Houck just randomly went up and pushed him.'

So assume that. It would be simple battery, and it is up to local jurisdictions to decide what to do about it, once the old man reported it. They did, they decided to drop it. Then the old man sued but wouldn't even show up for his own case, so that was dropped also. Then it "came to the attention of" the FBI. Wonder how that happened?

The FBI reaction was incredibly excessive, not something you do in a year old case of alleged simple battery, that locals declined to prosecute. It's what banana republics do in cases of dissent.

The FBI hasn't denied there were 25 agents, nor have they denied the Houcks version of how it happened.

The ONLY thing the FBI has denied is that a SWAT team was used.
