It might be a little early, but in 2028, I think it’s Vance and Rubio for the Republicans.

The democrats can go in a few different directions either AOC and David Hogg or maybe Josh Shapiro and Jihad Omar - the diversity ticket.

Mods, is there a way to delay posting this until mid 2026?

Your are right. It is crazy.

After Trump wrecks the economy, Vance will have no chance of getting elected, even against AOC (who is barely old enough to run, Hogg isn't old enough to run at all.)

LOL....The dems better dust them off some Blue Dogs.

Or.

Just do what they always do.

Wait for Republicans to fuck things up, and the voters come screaming back to them to save them from themselves.

Like they did in 2020, 2008, 1992, 1976, 1960, 1932... well, you get the idea.

Hopefully, next time we can keep Republicans from fucking things up long enough to fix the last batch of stuff they fixed up and make some progress.

That's the funniest thing I've heard in AGES!!!!!!!!!!

What you need to remember is this.....There won't be people voting against Trump just because he's Trump the next go-round.

By the looks of things, the evil dems at the DNC learned nothing this past November.....May their hysterical blindness continue. :)

Governor Shapiro stands no chance as the Anti-Semitic base of the Democrat Party would reject him out of hand.

Further, he burned bridges on Sunday with the animal rights people by not denouncing the alleged abuse of groundhogs in Jefferson County.

Well, at least Josh Shapiro is sane. A "diversity" ticket of Biden and Harris led to their downfall in 2024.

Well, that’s why I thought ill Omar would balance the ticket

okay, did you all forget about 2008, where McCain got completely slaughtered because people were so pissed off at Bush?

I mean, you people barely remember 2020, so I can imagine that 2008 feels truly ancient to you.

So Trump will leave someone holding the flaming bag of shit, but a flaming bag of shit it will be..

McCain got slaughtered because he was a pathetic candidate. After all, he had denounced Dubya before.

I don't live in the past but I'm aware of it.

Damn, McCain and Romney sucked sooooo bad. Talk about your morose election day lines in my deep red county.

I remember feeling better about Bod Dole than those two fuckin' turkeys and I knew Dole would lose.

No, McCain got slaughtered because he supported a war that everyone agreed at that point was based on a lie and a terrible idea, and because unemployment was cruising to Double Digits...

Bush would have gotten slaughtered even worse if he had been allowed to run a third term.

McCain seemed relatively sane compared to Huckabee and Romney arguing over whether or not Jesus and Satan were brothers.

That's not insane at all. It might not have much to do with the Presidential election, and I'm not sure why it was covered.

But Huckabee is a licensed Baptist theologian and Romney is an ordained LDS prelate. The relationship between Jesus H. Christ and Satan is a matter of dispute between the two faiths.

quite right. But they thought with a war and a recession, THIS was the most important topic to discuss in the primaries, who is right with imaginary sky fairies?
