No, they prove that Hunter benefitted from having a famous surname, they do NOT prove 'influence peddling'. For it to prove that, you'd have to prove that Hunter's associates received a benefit legislatively or financially from Joe Biden. There is no proof of that.

They may have tried, but there is no evidence they benefitted in any way from Joe either financially or via legislation.

IF the emails prove:

1. Hunter Biden made money running a business
2. Joe knew

Then note that neither are illegal, siblings of famous people are common to leverage their famous surnames for profit.

What the emails DO NOT prove is that Joe profited or Hunter's associates benefited from Joe.

As for 'influence peddling', that's called 'lobbying'. Hunter is a registered lobbyist. On foreign deals, the worst you can pin on him is a FARA violation, and it's not likely the DOJ is going to pursue it, considering the following facts, which fall into the 'bigger fish to fry' department:

Jared Kushner scored a $125,000,000 management 1.25% fee on a $2,000,000,000 monetary contribution to his dubious investment fund given to Kuschner from the murderous Mohammed Bin Salman for the ostensible soft treatment of him by the Trump WH.

Ivanka Trump got accelerated trademarks from China while her father, Donald Trump, was negotiating with China and she used these trademarks to make millions in sales of products to China.

Both of the above persons made their millions while OFFICERS of the US GOVERNMENT holding SENIOR POSITIONS in the WHITE HOUSE who were SIBLINGS of the PRESIDENT.

Both of these profiteering could not have occurred but for their being a sibling of Donald Trump as President.

Now, while that may be true also of Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden is a PRIVATE CITIZEN.
