2011 American Idol Winner Scotty McCreery Robbed at Gunpoint

Scotty McCreery was the victim of a home invasion-style robbery early Monday morning, police said.

Raleigh Police spokesman Jim Sughrue says officers were called shortly before 2 a.m. to an apartment about a mile from the North Carolina State University campus, where McCreery is a student. Three suspects armed with guns are reported to have taken wallets, cash and electronic items.

No one was injured.

After Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery is one of the other few American Idol contestants that I enjoy listening to. Glad to see that he was not harmed during the robbery.

Hope they find those responsible soon, and bring them all to justice.
