After a retirement party two high ranking Secret Service supervisors drove their car into a White House barrier....this was reported on the Amy and Dan show here in Chicago.....an author who has chronicled the activities of the Secret Service pointed out that one of the main problems....obama doesn't take the management of the Secret Service seriously enough...he promoted one of the agents who worked on his pre Presidential detail ignoring the man's less than stellar performance and ignored the recomendations for reform after the last scandals came out.....

Obama is risking his own safety and the safety of his family.......

Time to start treating Secret Service agents like choirboys

They are supposed to be the best of the best. They should have strict behavior requirements both on and off the job. Going out and getting drunk whether on your time or company time should be grounds for firing

They are no longer frat boys looking for a good time. They should act like professionals

They are endangering the President and the First Family....something needs to be done now...and not later....

The presidunce doesn't take his job seriously. The secret service can't be expected to take their job seriously.

Heads have rolled in the Secret Service.....looks like it hasn't worked

Maybe it is time to turn over security responsibility to the FBI

This is outrageous. The President and his entire family and staff are at risk. They need to be fired today and the new head revisited.

The author on the radio interview pointed out that he and several others who advised the panel looking into making the changes suggested that very thing...that an outside FBI leader would be able to fix the problem without coming from the same culture that allows it to go on........as to handing over the entire thing to the FBI....that would be interesting....

How was the President "at risk" when these guys were off duty at the time?

The one guy was 2nd in Command of his personal detail....and if it was just this one event, it might not be a problem...but with the multiple scandals, including actual breaches that got into the White House it is obvious something is very wrong with the culture there.......

this is a story about the incident....

Report Drunk Secret Service agents crash into WH barrier - CNN.com

Two senior Secret Service agents, including a top member of President Barack Obama's protective detail, crashed a car into a White House barricade following a late-night party for retiring spokesman Ed Donovan and it's suspected they had been drinking, sources confirmed to CNN.

The Washington Post first reported the incident.

The officers were allowed to go home after a supervisor on duty overruled on-duty law enforcement who wanted to arrest the agents and conduct sobriety tests, a U.S. law enforcement official confirmed to CNN.

"The officers for the Secret Service who monitor the safety of the White House complex and ultimately the president and his family felt that these two individuals may have been intoxicated," Washington Post reporter Carol D. Leonnig, who broke the story, said in an interview broadcast on CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.

They were allowed to go home so guess what? There's no proof of DUI.

And I got news for you all, Active duty and Civilian people get popped for DUI all the time, maybe even at greater rates than non-governmental types.

Again.....by itself, a small issue....with the actual penetration of the White House perimeter....getting into the white House....and all the other scandals...this is a problem.....

"Watch out for whitey because he's going to attempt an assassination." Mark Sullivan, Obama's first Secret Service Director.
"Watch out for whitey because he's going to attempt an assassination." Julia Pierson, Obama's second Secret Service Director.
"Watch out for whitey because he's going to attempt an assassination." Joseph Clancy, Obama's third Secret Service Director.
"Watch out for whitey because he's going to attempt an assassination." (Fill in name of the Chimp's race-baiter Secret Service Director #4, whoever that's going to be)

So how is all this white-hating paranoia working out for the whoring, crack-smoking, alcoholic, incompetent bums who make up this administration and the Secret Service?

Here is the whole story-
The 2 agents had been partying, on their way back, there was a investigation at the White House re: a pkg that had been found. The 2 agents rsponded, as well as the others already investigating it. They were using a fed ss vehicle, while under, what appears to be, the influence. They turned on the flashing lights, which is not allowed as well as running into the barricade. One of the the men was the 2nd senior ranking agent in Obama's detail.
Four whistleblowers reported the incident.
