That’s gonna be costly for the taxpayers
Cheaper than paying them for the next 8 years.

I do understand what an audit entails I also understand that these agencies do them all the time and yet we are where we are.You don’t understand what real audits really mean. You examine what the mission is, how it is being accomplished, who is critical and who is expendable
Musk’s Chain Saw does not do that
That's a moronic justification for keeping something. We've already spent money to build a system which wastes money so we have to waste more money to maintain that system otherwise we've wasted the money we've already spent?Exactly. You don’t blow it up and start over. That throws away all the money spent building it .
The incompetence and backward technology in the government - where people are overpaid for staying at home - is unbelievable.I do understand what an audit entails I also understand that these agencies do them all the time and yet we are where we are.
We are 38 Trillion in debt and counting. The interest on that debt is higher than the total tax revenue generated by Canada, more than any EU country. In fact, it's more than every country on the planet other than China, though it close.

We generated 5.1 TRILLION dollars in tax revenue last year, and ran a 1.8 trillion dollar deficit. Our budget when Trump was President the first time was 4.1 trillion (which is insane). You are telling me we needed a 60% increase to expenditures in the span of 4 years?
So, save me the bullshit about how the Government is going to fix itself. It isn't, and if it could it should have done so already. The system is currently broken, and on an unsustainable path. Unless drastic measures are taken it will crash and I can assure you the number of people losing jobs will increase and the amount of aid going out will decrease a whole hell of a lot more if that happens vs scuttling agencies that are wasting money before it happens even if that means some well meaning people lose their jobs or some aid that might have done some good doesn't get out for a bit.
It’s not so much about what it cost to build it but rather the ADDED cost it will take to replace itThat's a moronic justification for keeping something. We've already spent money to build a system which wastes money so we have to waste more money to maintain that system otherwise we've wasted the money we've already spent?
Ya know why online sites don’t work as well as they might? The incompetence and backward technology in the government - where people are overpaid for staying at home - is unbelievable.
Example one:
I wanted to have taxes withheld from my SS. You are asked to go online, fill out the (fillable) PDF, and then….what? Hit submit like you would with a normal company? Nope. After you go online to fill out the form, you have to print it out and mail it in!
Example two:
I want to renew my passport, also online. This time, the page I’ve completed won’t even load. Went online to see if others are having this problem, and….yup. So….same thing….I printed out a blank form, and filled it in with a pen.
And imagine how much we are paying for government programmers and then the contractors, and we are still back in 1999.
It’s not so much about what it cost to build it but rather the ADDED cost it will take to replace it
BTW Im completely fine with sending as much money for foreign aid and influence operations as you want. Just let me know what programs we are cutting here in the States to pay for it. We generate 5.1 trillion in tax revenue per year. About 1 trillion of that goes toward servicing the debt. Leaves 4.1 trillion (our expenditures in 2018 BTW) to play with, but once the money runs out we dont get to spend any more money. Then we will actually KNOW what our priorities are. It’s not so much about what it cost to build it but rather the ADDED cost it will take to replace it
Not really. It will save money actually. That’s gonna be costly for the taxpayers
Typical. Lib can’t defend the abuse the government employees have been running, so they just deny it.
That's like Democrats' 'experts say' or 'it has been reported' or 'it's a consensus' or a million other unsupported comments.Typical MAGA-tard. Makes shit up and can't actually support it with anything beyond "Well I know this guy who knows this other guy..."
Oh puh-leze…..everyone knows that the government is massively overstaffed and most employees have exploited the work-from-home deal.Typical MAGA-tard. Makes shit up and can't actually support it with anything beyond "Well I know this guy who knows this other guy..."
"everybody knows" is just an excuse for someone who doesn't have any credibility.Oh puh-leze…..everyone knows that the government is massively overstaffed and most employees have exploited the work-from-home deal.
Denial won’t work anymore. The scam has been exposed,"everybody knows" is just an excuse for someone who doesn't have any credibility.
Private companies downsize all the time"everybody knows" is just an excuse for someone who doesn't have any credibility.
It it had actually been exposed, you wouldn’t be relying on weak “everyone knows” arguments.Denial won’t work anymore. The scam has been exposed,
Great. and you can learn to do with less too. Let’s downsize your government benefits next.Private companies downsize all the time
The feds will have to learn to do with less
But I look for work slowdowns all over washington as entitled GS-whatever’s seek to torment their tormenters
You are a tower of illogicGreat. and you can learn to do with less too. Let’s downsize your government benefits next.
So you’re not willing to share the pain, you just inflict it.You are a tower of illogic
Sometimes you scream about trump reducing SS
Then you threaten MAGAs with loss of benefits
Do you ever listen to yourself?
Forcing taxpayers to cover the costs for unnecessary, redundant employees is inflicting pain. Every agency is overstaffed, and taxpayers do not owe government employees a job when they’re unnecessary. So you’re not willing to share the pain, you just inflict it.
Is that what we are reading here?
