Cincy Reds were undefeated in 1869. Won a crapload of games. Wooooo!

1. 72 win team was the 95-96 Bulls
2. Yes, the 90’s had no second dynasty that the 80’s (Lakers, Celtics), 2000’s (Lakers, Spurs), and 2010’s (Spurs, Heat, Warriors) had.
3. They are one of the greatest for sure, but I’d pick the Curry-KD-Klay-Green Warriors and Lebron-Wade-Bosh Heat over them

If you grew up hating the Bulls like I did, you would assume OKC, Minnesota, NY or Indiana are going to lose. And they would, year after year after year. break break after year after year after year.

I hated it live. God I rooted for Stockton and Malone.

Hakeem Olajuwon is so lucky Jordan took a break for 2 years.

He led the Houston Rockets to back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995 and was named Finals MVP both years. Selected to twelve NBA All Star games, Olajuwon holds the NBA record for blocked shots (3,830) and is the only player to record more than 3,000 blocked shots and 2,000 steals in a career.

Do you say stupid shit just to get a reaction? And I love how in the other thread you talked down to me when I argued MJ would eat Lebron's lunch. You said "oh, because you say so?"

Well I'm sure you have some analytics to back up your claim that the Lebron, Wade Bosh trio would have beat the Bulls.

Sorry dork. They needed to win more than 2 championships for you to try to put them on par with the freakin Bulls.

Miami beat OKC and an aging Spurs team. OKC was Harden, Durant and Westbrook? Three losers who didn't play well together. Name someone other than Dirk on the Dallas team they beat?

Then a year after beating the Spurs, the Spurs beat them in the finals.

That Miami team was just the best team in the league at the time. Certainly not a great team. No dynasty. And yet you think they would have beat the bulls. LOL

1. Jordan didn't take a break for 2 years. He came back in 1995 and he and Bulls were beaten by the Orlando Magic. Jordan gagged up the ball to Nick Anderson in a clutch moment too. But, you ought to correct your mistaken claim.

2. The Rockets pretty much owned the bulls whenever they played, the Bulls had no answer for Hakeem. If MJ didn't quit on his team and the sport in 1993-94... and if they were able to make it past New York again... Houston would have been more than capable of taking down Chicago.

I just looked at the Matchups:

1995-96 Bulls:
PG: Ron Harper
SG: MJ
SF: Pippen
PF: Rodman
C: Longley

Key Bench
Toni Kukoc
Steve Kerr
John Salley
Bill Wennington

2012-2013 Heat:
PG: Mario Chalmers
SG: Dwayne Wade
SF: Lebron James
PF: Chris Bosh
C: Chris Anderson

Key Bench:
Ray Allen
Shane Battier
Udonis Haslem
Mike Miller
Juwan Howard
Rashard Lewis

Would be a really good series. The fact that you're emotionally appalled just shows your religious zeal that St. Michael would beat any team ever, at any time. In his Prime, Jordan never faced a team on the level of the:
Bird-Parish-McHale Celtics
Magic-Worhty Lakers
Duncan-Parker-Ginobli-Leonard Spurs
Currey-Durant-Thompson-Green Warriors
Kobe-Shaq Lakers
Lebron-Wade-Bosh Heat
Lebron-Kyrie-Love Cavs

If those Bulls ran into another dynasty or high level team like those, and not low-level Finals opponents, they wouldn't have 6 rings at all. Jordan thrived in the weakest years since 1980.

they would beat the Miami heat and Spurs

I think that super star warrior team with KD would win

Those old pre NBA Jewish teams were the best

High percentage shots, excelled at STEALING the ball and never gave up any FREE throws

72-9 speaks for itself. And 4 of those losses came in April when Jackson was almost certainly tactically resting his stars a bit. Four losses by the way is what they had in the entire playoff run that season. So they were actually 87 and 13..an 87% winning percentage.

I'm laughing at where you said Jordan thrived in the weakest years since 1980.

I don't know about that. The Hakeem Rockets looked pretty damn good as soon as MJ took a little break. Was the NBA better in the 80's than in the 90's? How come the sport reached such popularity with MJ?

Listen dopey. Remember I told you they asked all the NBA former and current players who the GOAT was and they say MJ? That's it. It's settled. Maybe not for you, but consensus says MJ is the GOAT. You can keep arguing it in your fringe thinking little universe.

Or if you are you, you don't know. You didn't see it. You must not have.

Let me remind you again I hated Jordan live. I wished and prayed each year he would lose and he never did. That's called shutting me the fuck up. Lebron gave me plenty of years of joy watching him be a big fat old pussy failure. Lebron should have 10 rings. If he had 6 that wouldn't be enough because he won in the bubble year once and once Green got suspended and somehow Cleveland came back from down 3 to 0. RIGGED!

Remember Lebron getting cramps in Miami. What a pussy

There was no historically elite team Jordan had to contend with. I already listed all the others who had another dynasty they had to beat. Jordan faced the easiest competition of any GOAT contenders

Indeed. They had the Bulls number too.
Was the NBA better in the 80's than in the 90's?
Overall absolutely
How come the sport reached such popularity with MJ?
Popularity and greatness aren’t the same
Listen dopey.
These are the things that make you sound like an emotional child. If you’re going to take the time to have these conversations, you ought to not shoot yourself in the foot

Ive made the case before, I didn’t make it in this thread, you insecurely barged in and began the topic.. why? It seems like if anyone disagrees with you, or even suggests something that could be construed as slighting MJ, you get easily triggered. Another childish feature. You act like those angry Marxist purple haired spoiled college kids lol

I can nearly see the curved brow and foam from your mouth as you type these pointed claims LOL. Maybe get less emotional if you want to have any conversation that has any depth dude

It was a great team. They beat the 1972 Laker's record of 69 - 13. However, no team has come close to the 33 game win streak they had. This will probably never be broken. The players, Wilt (the GOAT), Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Gail Goodrich, Jim McMillian, Happy Hairston, Keith Erickson, Pat Riley. Jim Cleamons, Leroy Ellis, Flynn Robinson, John Trapp.

Wow, a meme. Powerful stuff.
You'll never see one in any other order. No one will ever say Lebron is the GOAT and Jordan is the self proclaimed. In fact Jordan is 2. The people's champ and the actual GOAT. Kobe isn't the people's champ. They're just being nice cause he dead.

The 90s Bulls vs the 2010s Warriors would be a hell of a series.
If you did the Back to the Future method and just had them play as is (which isn’t fair)… MJ, Pippen, and Harper would be completely shell shocked as Curry and Thompson shot 10 3’s each without hesitation from multiple feet behind the ark with ease and hitting them. If the Warriors started hot, it would be 15-6 Warriors and a time out by the Bulls after 2-3 minutes of play to figure out WTF is going on

Good point. The sport has evolved a lot since the 90s.

Also, the Draymond/Rodman matchup would be interesting to watch lol.

Yeah, but that’s not fair to do.

Yeah it would be Ron Harper or Steve Kerr trying to guard Curry, MJ and Klay, Pippen on Durant, Rodman and Green.. I’d imagine the warriors might bring the quick Durant, and his 6’10” height and long reach, over a lot on the 6’6” MJ to disrupt his mid range game.
