1973 S&W 39-2 9mm Pistol

This one was brought in by a customer with a couple old .mil rifles yesterday at a shop I frequent. When he left, I bought from the shop.....$350.00. Examples in this condition fetch around $500.00 or so.

It's in very nice condition. It came with a Bianchi thumb break holster but only one mag, I ordered another.

The Model 39 was the first double action semi-auto pistol made in the US and was the basis of the Vietnam era "hush puppy" silenced version.

Averted a car jacking at 3am in 99 with one in stainless, awesome firearm. Made 2 Patriot 6'6" hulks into quarterbacks when I stuck it in their face. They never expected an out of stater to be packing in "mamdatory 1 year jail" in Mass. Still can't get over how fast they ran and how big their eyes got when they didn't get what they wanted.
