Terrific movie in B&W. The plot revolved around a squad of Soldiers in Korea captured and transported to Manchuria where they were "brainwashed". A terrific recurring dream sequence is a bunch of ladies discussing flowers turns out to be the commie brainwashing audience. Frank Sinatra was great but for my money the Brit actor Laurence Harvey was so dreadfully miscast as the US Korean Soldier who was awarded the MOH that it almost ruined the movie.

Did you know Angela Lansbury was only three years older than the man who played her son?

The martial arts fighting is pretty funny to watch in that movie. It probably looked pretty good back in the day, but looks hilarious now.

Was an amazing movie and was pulled out of circulation for over 2 decades after the assassination of President Kennedy.
