A few days ago the news report was that 16 cops had been killed in America, this year. Now , the number may be higher than that. It would be bad enough if 16 police officers had been killed in America, if this was December. Being that we are only in mid-February, this is especially bad.
Its hard to discount the possibility of anti-police propaganda being part of th cause of cop killings. Anti-police rhetoric has been around for quite some time. In 1991, the infamous KTLA anti-cop false video tape, resulted in riots in LA that got 54 people killed. In 2013, anti-police BS from Barrack Obama, Eric holder, Al Sharpton, et al, brought abut the riots in Ferguson,MO, New York City, and Baltimore, MD.
There still is quite a bit of hatred of police, mostly coming from misinformation from politicians and the media. Recently the NFL, refusd to allow the Dallas Cowboys to wear patches honoring 5 Dallas police officers who were gunned down.
Maybe we could boost up the image of police in America, by having wards shows on TV for cops, instead of the ones for movie actors, who really don't do much for us. Then there's the music award shows. Thes elaughingstocks have trophies given out to people labeled as "musicians", when thy do nothing more than yell obscenties into a microphone, and could play a single chord on an instrument, if their lives depended on it.
Bring on the police awards, and while we're at it, let's do firefighters' awards, paramedics, military, and security guards. I'd nominate the security guard who shot Egyptian terrorist Ahmaed Mohamed Hadayet to death in LA airport, after Hadayet shot and killed 2 people, and wounded some others. Too bad that ARMED and ready guard wasn't at the high school in Parkland, FL this past Wednesday.
