Several military research centers note that the Moscow empire is showing structural weaknesses similar to the Romanov empire in 1917: extreme casualties, exhausted logistics, collapsing morale, and an overstretched front. These analysts argue that such pressures have historically preceded state‑level destabilization. This is not a prediction — just a reference to the historical record of 1905, 1917, 1991... and 2026....

“15 meters per day. The Moscow‑imperial army in Ukraine has set an anti‑record for the slowest advance in 100 years of modern military history. At the cost of enormous losses — averaging 35,000 personnel per month — the generals of the Moscow empire’s General Staff managed to take control of 0.8% of Ukraine’s territory last year (4,831 square kilometers) and 0.6% in 2024 (3,604 square kilometers). At the same time, on key fronts the Muscovite offensive turned out to be even slower than operations of the First World War, which became infamous for prolonged trench battles with almost no movement of the front line.

For example, the assault on Chasiv Yar, which began in February 2024, is advancing at a speed of 15 meters per day, according to CSIS calculations: in almost two years, the army has moved only 10 kilometers and still has not managed to take full control of the city."
